Mindi is a captivating trick-taking card game with roots in India, where it enjoys substantial popularity. Once a trump suit is established for a hand, the highest trump card played wins the trick. If no trump card is played, the highest card of the led suit takes the trick. Players gather captured tricks in face-down piles until all 13 tricks are played.

Victory conditions in Mindi include capturing three or all four of the tens for a win. Achieving all four tens is known as Mendicot, while winning every trick is called Fifty-Two Card Mendicot. Points are scored after each hand, with the first team to reach five points declared the overall game winner.
