Mindi is a captivating trick-taking card game with roots in India, where it enjoys substantial popularity. Also known as MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, Mindi Multiplayer, or Dehla Pakad (which translates to "Collect the tens"), Mindi provides a stimulating challenge requiring strategic thinking. Designed for four players split into two partnerships, the game uses a standard 52-card deck with the following card rankings: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.

The gameplay includes two modes: Hide Mode and Cut Mode. The former involves selecting a trump suit before play starts, whereas the latter begins without pre-selecting the trump suit. Once a trump suit is established for a hand, the highest trump card played wins the trick. If no trump card is played, the highest card of the led suit takes the trick. Players gather captured tricks in face-down piles until all 13 tricks are played.

Victory conditions in Mindi include capturing three or all four of the tens for a win. Achieving all four tens is known as Mendicot, while winning every trick is called Fifty-Two Card Mendicot. Points are scored after each hand, with the first team to reach five points declared the overall game winner.
